I'm a Senior SEO Strategist and Technical SEO Consultant. I help companies who are struggling to see results from organic search: technical SEO, organic search strategy, and helping teams get things done. I've been doing it for nearly 15 years.

How I got here.

It started agency-side at WMG, Branded3 and Salt.Agency for nearly 10 years, running organic search strategies as a Senior SEO Strategist. I worked with clients such as Ladbrokes Sports, City Index, Beauty Bay, bathstore and First4lawyers.

During my time working in agencies the work covered:

  • Co-operating with content, PR and developer teams to implement strategies.
  • Developing and implementing SEO strategies for client campaigns.
  • Providing day-to-day SEO consultancy and account management.
  • Creating new technical frameworks to streamline team processes.
  • Training and managing junior members of the SEO team.

Then I did what most consultants never do: I went and built the tools, spending nearly 3 years as a Product Manager at DeepCrawl (now Lumar). I was the PM responsible for the core app team.

During my time working as a Product Manager the work covered:

  • Successfully delivering product features that solve problems for technical SEOs.
  • Creating a product vision, strategy and roadmap for the product squad team.
  • Defining feature requirements using Product Requirement Documents (PRDs).
  • Breaking requirements down into dev tickets with the development team.
  • Developing objectives and key results (OKRs) for the product.

That mix of agency strategy and product thinking has shaped how I work. I don't hand over a 100-page audit nobody opens. I plan, scope and actually implement a prioritised strategy with your team.

Here are some results I've achieved working with clients:

  • Cut a client's index bloat by 67% (2M pages to 653K) and grew traffic from 600K to 1.2M visits a month.
  • Added over £1m in non-brand SEO revenue in 12 months for an ecommerce client.
  • Drove £8m in leads for a B2B finance client, with 130% more non-brand traffic.
  • 2x a B2B SaaS non-branded SEO traffic in 2 years in the competitive AI agent space.

On the side, I've built a B2B SaaS tool called Indexing Insight a Google index monitoring tool that helps large websites monitor Google indexing data at scale.

I've also taught what I know. My SEO Product Ownership course did over $70k in sales and trained SEOs at Miro, Adidas and Gymshark. Before that, The SEO Sprint newsletter reached 8,000 subscribers over 2.5 years.
