Cookie Policy.

This Cookie Policy explains how Gent of Search Ltd ("we", "us", "our", the "Owner") uses cookies and similar technologies on https://gentsofsearch.com (the "Site"). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies and trackers?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit a website. Alongside cookies, websites may use other technologies that store or access information on your device, such as scripts, pixels, unique identifiers, and web beacons. For simplicity, we refer to all of these as "Trackers", using "Cookies" only where we mean that specific type.

Trackers may be:

  • First-party — set directly by the Site
  • Third-party — set by a provider other than the Site (for example, an analytics service)
  • Session-based — deleted when you close your browser
  • Persistent — stored for a set period or until you delete them

The validity and expiration periods of Cookies and other Trackers may vary depending on the lifetime set by us or by the relevant third-party provider. Some expire when your browsing session ends.

2. How we use Trackers

We use Trackers for two purposes:

Necessary — required for the Site to operate and to remember your consent choices. These do not require consent.

Measurement — used to measure traffic and analyse visitor behaviour so we can improve the Site. These are only set with your consent.

We do not use advertising or targeting Trackers.

Google Search Console does not place any Trackers on your device. It provides us with aggregated data from Google about how the Site performs in search results.

4. How to manage preferences and provide or withdraw consent

When you first visit the Site, a consent banner asks whether you accept measurement Trackers. These are only set after you accept. You can provide, update, or withdraw your consent at any time via the [cookie settings link/icon] on the Site.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdrew it.

For third-party Trackers, you can also manage your preferences via the related opt-out link (where provided), by using the means indicated in the third party's privacy policy, or by contacting the third party directly.

Managing Trackers via your browser settings

You can use your browser settings to see what Cookies have been set on your device, block Cookies, or clear them. Note that blocking all Cookies may affect how the Site functions, and browser settings do not allow granular control of consent by category.

5. Consequences of denying consent

You are free to decide whether or not to grant consent. However, Trackers help us understand how the Site is used and improve the experience we provide. If you decline consent, the Site will still function, but we will not collect measurement data about your visit.
